Mollie Tadd: 2015 Winner

"I wasn't really feeling nervous or anything before the concert, I just wanted to play as well as I could as it was my last concert in Peterborough; I'm now studying recorders at Birmingham conservatoire! One of the pieces I played in the concert was Ende by Andriessen, which is a piece for two recorders.

The best piece of advice I have for anyone is to act as confident as you can whilst performing - even if you're not feeling it. That way, even if you don't play amazingly, the audience believes you have given a good performance!"

Irena Radic: 2013 Winner

British pianist Irena Radić is currently studying at the Royal College of Music, London with Niel Immelman.
She began learning the piano with Jenny Macmillan and later studied with Lynette Stulting at the RCM's Junior Department as a Tsukanov Scholar and recipient of the Wolfson Music Award.

She has won several awards and was chosen to perform at the Wigmore Hall as a prizewinner in the Jaques Samuel Junior Department Piano Festival 2012 & 2013. Irena has performed in venues such as the Venezuelan Embassy's Bolivar Hall, West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge and the Amaryllis Flemming Concert Hall.
